Bienvenidos Todos!
Mission Statement
Formerly La Raza Law Students Association ("La Raza"), we are now Latinx Law Students Association (LLSA). We are an interethnic and multicultural group at UC Law SF College of the Law (formerly "UC Hastings") dedicated to promoting diversity in the law school classroom and the legal profession. As the largest organization on campus, LLSA finds its strength in the diversity and dedication of its members. Though, individually, we have different backgrounds and perspectives, collectively, we share the same vision of success for all of our members as they navigate law school and transition into the practice of law.
Goals and Objectives
We seek to create a sense community among all students on campus through LLSA's academic, cultural, political, and social events; to promote academic, cultural, political, and social awareness among LLSA members and the UC Law SF community at large; to integrate LLSA students in the decision-making process at UC Law SF and to have a meaningful impact on policies that affect La Raza and all students. Moreover, LLSA aims to create academic, cultural, political and social traditions within the UC Law SF community; to develop competent LLSA attorneys to increase multi-cultural representation in the legal community in order to aid our respective communities through effective legal representation and leadership; to cultivate meaningful relationships with LLSA alumni and other organizations, on and off campus.
